What exactly is ZipHost?
ZipHost is hosting for static sites — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and generated output from tools like Hugo or Astro. Upload a .zip of the site folder and publish it to a live URL.
Do I need to know how to code?
You need a folder that's already a website — most page builders and static site generators can export one. ZipHost doesn't build the site for you, it just puts it online.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Connect your domain after publishing your ZIP website. Custom domains and SSL are included with every paid plan.
What happens to old deploys?
Every zip you deploy is kept as a numbered version. You can roll back to any previous deploy from the dashboard in one click.
Can I deploy from GitHub instead of a zip?
Yes — connect a repository and ZipHost will zip the build output and deploy it automatically on every push, if you'd rather not drag files by hand.
Is there a file size limit?
Starter includes 2 GB of storage. Storage increases to 100 GB on Business; upload limits are shown in the dashboard before you deploy.
